Day 2 – A Full Day at GWK Cultural Park

The most ideal place for cultural explorations in Bali is none other than Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, Ungasan. As there are so many attractions to explore, we highly recommend you to reserve a day just for exploring the park. Here are some recommendations for what to experience from morning to evening:
- Morning – Start your cultural exploration with one of the tallest statues in the world, the GWK statue. What lies within the statue is an exciting and educative attraction called the Top of Statue Tour. This guided tour allows you to enjoy exhibitions and breathtaking panoramic views from inside the statue.

- Afternoon – After exploring the magnificent statue, explore photo spots and gardens. Almost every corner of GWK is the perfect spot for your photos. Don’t forget to feature the majestic statues to make your photos instantly iconic. You can also have a relaxing rest by sitting in the Lotus Pond area accompanied by the great views.

- Evening – The perfect way to spend your evening is watching our new BarAong Show. This show is a modernized version of the regular barong performance with 5 barongs in one show. It adapts the story of Prince Bara searching for Barong, the guardian spirit that maintains the balance of the world. This show performs every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6 PM at the Amphitheater.
